Wordless Wednesday: Secret Garden

As much as I love living in the city, I find the hustle and bustle can sometimes overwhelm me. When those moments stike I can’t help but hear Grand Master Flash.

“Don’t push me ‘cuz I’m close to the edge
I’m trying not to lose my head
Uh huh ha ha ha
It’s like a jungle sometimes
It makes me wonder how I keep from goin’ under … ”

Secret gardens within the city like the one below keep me from losing my head  Uh huh ha ha ha …

This little secret garden is actually one of my favorite lunch time spots in the midtown area.

Happy WW!

@Sabrina: Hey girl! Its on 47th near Lex, its a doorman building so you have to get buzzed in. Maybe we can get together and go one day?

@Cassie, @Brian, @Suzanne, @Iris: It is! Its a calm oasis within the city! Best of all you can only enter if you are a resident of the building or know someone who is. Thankfully, I do!

Happy WW! Your photo and comment reminds me of a song from back in the day called ‘Secret Gardens’. I need to see if I can find it. I think you would enjoy it…

President Jimmy Carter and others remind us that Racism in America is still a problem in the 21st century.
