I love shopping at Kmart for my boys necessities. Thankfully there is a store near-by on 34th Street so I don’t have to go far. Yet when I don’t feel like walking I enjoy shopping their sales online (why bother with the lines if I don’t have too!). I can find some great deals especially when they have their Bluelight Specials, which I am happy to say will be this weekend on August 15, 2009! Perfect timing for those back to school necessities!

In the past, I’ve been able to pick up Prince’s backpack at Kmart. They have a great selection that pass my muster AND his! Most importantly they are sturdy, definitely a requirement for any 8 year old boy, particularly mine! Since the backpack prices are so Latinaliciously cheap, I’m planning on purchasing two backpacks for Prince. We can use one for school and the other when we do day-trips or he has sleepovers. I’m also keeping my eyes peeled for their specials on long sleeve shirts and jeans. As we all know, you can never have too many of these, so I would LOVE to see a sale on these items!
