Check to see which have the better deals, combine your store runs to save gas or shop at one if that one has the best offers instead of wasting gas on different store runs. In the end, take into account the gas and time spent running after sales because as we all know time is money!
FYI: I base my write-up on the NYC circulars, which may or may not correspond to the locations near you. You can see copies of each store’s circulars by clicking on the store name here: CVS, Duane Reade, and Rite-Aid. CVS & Rite Aid are valid until May 30, 2009. Duane Reade prices are valid until May 29, 2009. Also if you find something on sale that you want but do not need the number of items, example 5 for $5, you can purchase 1 for $1, or whatever amount you need up to the limit!
