My family and I are movie fanatics. This would get very expensive, if I had to pay the regular price. Thankfully, I don’t.
I recently posted Six Ways to Score Cheap or FREE Movie Tickets. I had some wonderful comments and wanted to update the post with FIVE more ways to score cheap tickets.
1. Purchase movie tickets at Costco:
The Costco near me sells movie tickets as low as $7.50 each! Thank you Nycgirl0501 for bringing this to my attention!
2. Use Credit Card Points or Discounts:
Several credit cards allow you to use your points for movie ticket purchases, like American Express. Signature Visa also gives its card holder’s up to 20% off at Fandango.
3. Join a Movie Subscription service
I recently discovered Movie Subscription services. I haven’t signed up yet but thought it was worth mentioning. At Weekly Cinema you can subscribe to receive one FREE movie ticket and 3 movie tickets every month for only $14.99. That’s like paying $3.75 for each ticket!
4. Purchase tickets via KGB
KGB offers daily deals on a variety of items, including movie tickets. At KGB you can purchase an AMC Gold Experience™ Movie Ticket for $4! Its valid in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Boston ONLY. It takes about 4 weeks to arrive and is limited to one per customer. Click HERE to score this deal!
5. Check out my Entertainment Section
I post FREE movie events, host giveaways and share whatever info I can find to help you save that hard-earned ca$h. For up to date info, you can check out my Entertainment section and Facebook Page. I also suggest you subscribe so you don’t miss out.
Hope these suggestions help you save some ca$h!

You are VERY welcome! I will have to try your other suggestions! 🙂 Maybe I’ll see more movies at the theaters 🙂
Thanks for the tips. We love going to the movies, but it’s expensive as a single mom.
Another way to get cheap movie tickets is if you have Geico they have discounted tix for AMC & Regal for $6.50 a ticket.
I signed up at gofobo.com, and I regularly receive invitations to screen movies for free. Movies have gotten so expensive. I try not to go unless I can get a discount.
