I absolutely loved Neil Patrick Harris on How I Met Your Mother. His character, Barney, had a sharp wit and a comedic sense of timing that could not have been played by anyone other than him.
Recently, thanks to JIF and The Moms, I got to meet him in person and witness that wit and humor in action! Even better, I was able to connect with him as a parent, because let’s be honest, the parenting struggle is real … funny!
The event was held at Caroline’s on Broadway.
At Caroline’s on Broadway cause the struggle is real… funny 😂 with @ActuallyNPH and Improv Actors at a LIVE comedy show.
And now they’re…RAPPING 💀💀💀

Sans kids, we mingled and enjoyed drinks.
And, then it started. The stage was set.
Neil Patrick Harris and the Improv actors did not disappoint. They acted out parenting prompts that showcased every parent’s struggle.
A big one, getting kids to eat healthy snacks. They nailed it! As a Mom, I need a snack that’s easy to pack and carry, something my youngest can just grab on his way out and JIF’s Power Ups, a chewy granola bar, fits the bill.
In the words of Barney Stinson, played by Neil Patrick Harris:
“Think of me as Yoda. Only instead of being little and green, I wear suits and I’m awesome. I’m your bro, I’m Bro-da.”
Because he is Bro-da(d). He’s that Dad that you want as your bro, the one who breaks down parenting life and makes it fun.
Watch JIF’s Facebook LIVE to enjoy a portion of that night’s show! Warning: Be ready to laugh.
