I’ve been anticipating the release of “The Hunger Games” since I read Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel, the first in a trilogy.
I’m excited to bring you an exclusive opportunity to see THE HUNGER GAMES in New York City on Wednesday, March 21, two days before it opens in theaters nationwide. The giveaway ends Monday, March 19, 2012, at 11:59pm, EST. The winner must respond by noon the next day to be included on the VIP list.
The Games begin on March 23, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Lenny Kravitz.
The film takes place in Panem, the ruins of what once was North America. Every year, a teenage boy and girl are selected from each of the 12 districts to compete in the Hunger Games, a terrifying, televised competition in which the object is to be the last one to survive. Katniss takes the place of her younger sister as the female tribute from District 12 and finds herself in the fight of her life.
At its heart, the film is about the sacrifices one makes for his/her family. Katniss saves her mother and sister but also embraces a new family – the fellow tributes she befriends at the Games – and fights just as hard to save them as well.

I read the Hunger Games Trilogy a few months ago in anticipation of the movies being released. I fell in love with series and the characters and recommend it to everyone. As I read the Hunger Games, I felt as if I was part of it with Katniss Everdeen. When i saw the first trailer to this movie excitement filled. i quickly told my friends to see the trailer. Now to watch the movie on the big screen, I am able to see the characters come to life. I have been waiting as long as I can remember to see the Hunger Games on the big screen. Not only is the Hunger Games a movie to watch because of the novel, but also because of the cast the movie are great. I’ve seen most of the cast in other films and they all caught my attention to continue watching the films. Even if the films were not great the acting from the actors was great. The Hunger Games is an amazing novel, and to go to this premiere and watch it come to life on the big screen, would be the best thing that has ever happened to me.If I loved the novel, the n i know for sure that i will love the movie. I will love to go see this movie and encourage others to go and see it. Not only would it be great to go to the premiere, but it would be great to go with one of the people in this world that i love most. That person is my older brother. Without him taking me to get the book, i would never have been able to read the book nor enjoy such a great novel. It would also be a pleasure to go see this movie with him and to spend time with him. There are two reasons why i want to see this movie. One, because I loved the book, and also because i want to go with my brother who has been awaiting the release of the film as well. It would be an honor to go to the premiere and watch the Hunger Games.

I would love to see this movie because I believe what Katniss does to save her younger sisters life putting herself in deaths hand to rescue her from an unavoidable death is heroic to say the least. I believe theres only a small percentage of people who would put their lives up to save somebody else.
