HP Pavilion dv6 Official Giveaway Rules

To Enter: Complete the Mandatory entry stipulated in the giveaway post. Extra entries, as noted in the giveaway post, are considered eligible after the mandatory entry is completed. Entry is deemed made by owner of the email account.

Time Period:  This game begins on October 3, 2011 and ends on October 31, 2011 at 11:59pm  EST.  The winning entry for this game will be selected after said end date from eligible entries.

Prize:  One HP Pavilion dv6 Laptop. Winner will be determined at a drawing to be held by Sponsor.  All decisions by the Sponsor are final. Prize winner will be notified by email from Sponsor within 7 days of drawing.  No cash or prize substitution, transfer or assignment by winner is allowed.  HP reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal of greater value if prize becomes unavailable. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

Eligibility:  Open only to residents of the 50 United States & Washington D.C. who are 18 YEARS OLD on the date of this game.  Void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, possessions and where prohibited by law. Employees of HP, Sponsor, their subsidiaries, affiliates, their immediate family and household members are not eligible. Winner will be notified via email and will have to sign and return an eligibility affidavit & liability release, unless prohibited.  If eligible winners fail to sign and return required documents, prize will be forfeited.  All taxes are the responsibility of the winners.  Entering constitutes agreement to (i) these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions; (ii) release of Sponsor, HP, their subsidiaries, affiliates and agents from any claim arising from entry or prize receipt or use; and (iv) Sponsor sharing winner’s email address and contact information with HP for purposes of delivering affidavit of eligibility and prize.

This Game and the Official Rules are governed by the internal laws of the Sate of California without regard to rules of conflicts of laws.

Cancellation:  Sponsor or HP may amend or cancel this game at any time due to fraud, virus or system malfunction. Sponsor and HP disclaim any responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.
