Want to get out of the summer heat? Head on over to Redbox and take advantage of their  June Freebie!  Below are the details, which I copied and pasted from the email I received.

When you rent two or more movies at regular price in a single transaction we’ll send you a promo code in three days for a free* rental. Just provide a valid email at checkout and that’s it. Please note, only one free rental per person, per day will be awarded.

*To qualify for the free one-night rental, you must provide a valid email address at the time of check-out. To qualify for the offer, two or more DVDs must be rented and actually paid for (e.g., not using a promo code) in the same transaction at a redbox kiosk during the offer period. Transactions performed online at redbox.com DO NOT qualify. Customers with an outstanding balance due to collection issues or having prior history of abuse may not be awarded a free rental.

Only one promo code will be awarded per customer, per day. Ends 11:59 PM CDT June 30, 2010!

FREE Redbox Codes

I’ve written about Redbox in the past because I believe they are a great way of renting movies at a very frugal price. They normally cost $1 per day, however, I’m normally able to rent movies for FREE by using Redbox Codes.

One great site which I use to obtain Redbox codes is called Inside Redbox.

The site allows users to share codes that they have received. Although not all codes work, I am always able to find one that does while at the Redbox kiosk. You can later note the ones that worked or didn’t on the site to advise others and pass along the savings because as we all know it takes a community to save a buck! ;)

FREE Movie Rentals with Redbox

Have you joined Redbox yet?

For those of you unfamiliar with Redbox, let me explain. Redbox is an online website that allows you to rent movies. You can chose and reserve movies online, then pick up your movies at the Redbox location near you. Or if you tend to do things last minute, as I do, you can just swing by the nearest location to select and pick up your movies. The fee to rent a movie is only $1  and best of all there are no late fees! You can check to see if you have a location near you  by clicking HERE.

You can click HERE to receive a FREE movie rental. You will have to subscribe but I think its well worth it! If you do, you’ll receive a heads up on the monthly free codes via e-mail.

You can also sign up to receive free codes on your cell phone via SMS alerts. I did! This way I get the codes automatically AND I can pick up my movie and popcorn on the way home.

Also, as a special treat for my Latinalicious readers, here’s another Redbox code that’s good for a one time only rental on either June 22 or June 23: rbxthxu6   This means you can get not one, but TWO, free movie rentals this week!
