The Perfect Father’s Day Gift for the Man Who Has Everything!

nasa

Is your Father out of this world? Why not show him by sending him to orbit on a NASA space shuttle mission?

NASA is offering the public the chance to send their photo to space or if you’re camera shy you can send your name to space instead by signing up for one of their upcoming space shuttle flights. There are currently two flights available: Flight STS-133  and Flight STS-134.

Flight STS-133 is scheduled to fly into orbit on September 16, 2010. It will stay in space for eight days. Flight STS-134 does not have a scheduled flight date, but they are hoping it will fly out by November. The second flight will stay in space for ten days.

In order to sign up for a flight you must be 13 years of age or older. After signing up you can print and save the confirmation page with your flight information.  When the shuttle lands, you can return to the site and print a commemorative certificate signed by the Mission Commander!  The flight confirmation and certificate are unique gifts, perfect for any budget.

The print outs can be framed and treasured for many years to come by your Father or anybody interested in space!  Best of all, they’re gratis/free!
