Steps to Create a Natural Minimalist Look

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2012 the natural minimalist look reigned for a reason. It’s timeless and suits every woman!

The new make trend didn’t focus on the eyes or the lips but on very clean skin. It makes a woman appear as if she is not wearing make-up, giving off a very carefree natural aura.

In order to create the natural look shown above (steps below) we need to understand that it is all about the skin and for many Latinas, we need to begin by matching our skin with a good foundation that will not only make us look radiant but also instantly cover discolorations and age spots while also hydrating and improving skin tone over time such as COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation.

Face:

Apply a small amount of COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation  to the center of your face and blend outward toward the hairline. Use COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Plush Peach along the cheekbones to add a sculpted look.

Eyes:

Apply COVERGIRL Intense Shadow Blast in Brown Bling to the entire eyelid, smudging all the way up to the eyebrow with your finger to create a soft intensity. Use COVERGIRL Intense ShadowBlast in Beige Blaze on the inner corners of the eye to make them pop. Apply two coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast 24 Hour Mascara to the upper and lower lashes.

Lips:

Finally, create a stunning natural lip look with COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipcolor in Sultry (Love!).

Let’s talk! What do you think about the natural minimalist look? Will you wear it this Spring/Summer?
