Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program

I love going to Barnes & Noble during the weekend. You can browse through books, grab a coffee and lounge in the store, enjoying their AC and the atmosphere of fellow book readers. I usually go with my sons and make a day of it. Big K gets some free time from me and I go with Little Man to the kids section to have him read aloud to me. Its a great FREE way to spend the day with the boys.

I recently found another Latinalicious deal to add to the mix. Barnes and Noble is offering kids in grades 1-6, a FREE book and a chance to win an Autographed Percy Jackson Novel, when they read any eight (8) books of their own choosing. The children have to write the books they have read on a Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Journal to receive this freebie. Its offered in English and Spanish (love it) and is valid between May 26th & September 7th, 2009.

Its a great way to get your child to read during the summer. Hope you can take advantage of this offer!

Happy Reading!

P.S. If you win the Autographed Percy Jackson Novel you can easily sell it on eBay to bring in some extra money. Perfect for that college fund!
