Chic & Cheap: Ponytail Holders

Recently, I got a sneek peak at the latest ponytail holders, thanks to CVS/Pharmacy.

Ponytails have changed so much over the years. They are no longer considered a quick, style for harried moms. They are a fashionable option for busy women and their holders should reflect that! The below scrunchies are a few of the more modern options available at CVS/Pharmacy.

Goody Doublewear

The below ponytail can be worn on the wrist as a bracelet or wrapped around a ponytail. The pack comes with three (3) ponytail holders and retail for approximately $5.99.

 scünci Ponytail Holder

(1) and (2), featured below, are prototypes. (1) contains 6 ponytail holders. It is made of a elastized ribbon, which is knotted at the end. One of the pieces also contains a clear bead. (2) is also made of an elastized ribbon. However, that’s where the similarity ends. This ponytail holder has three circular steel rings in gold, rose, and dark gray. It can be worn on your hair or wrist. For variation, it can also be stacked. These are not available to the public yet.

Let’s talk! Do you wear ponytail holders? Would you wear any of the above?  Share your fashion commentary below!

Is it just me or does all the “gomitas” (another word for hair scrunchies) disappear? LOL With that said, I love to get as many gomitas on hand (literally) as possible. My kiddo’s hair is long and these are great. I can keep them around my wrist AND look good.

Love all 3 of the above, & actually bought the ones on the top to manage my hair that had gotten quite long, before I cut it again. Love the prototype #2, as well!!!

I have the goody ones and love them!!! I am always rocking a ponytail holder around my wrist. These are perfect for me. I also like the #2 prototype. Can’t wait to see them in stores!

BTW…Goody also has the same in necklace/headbands but I don’t like them as much as I like the ponytail holder.

My hair has always been the bane of my existence. However… I have three daughters with beautiful, thick hair so my bathroom looks like the hair section of your local drugstore. I am always looking for new stuff for their hair and these look cute. THanks for the tip!

This is an accessory that never fails in my bag. Usually I buy scünci brand because they are cute and cheap. I liked all that you posted! Thank you very much for sharing.

I love wearing ponytails! My hair is always picked up! My favorite brand is Scunci. I really love that they’re durable. They don’t break like other brands. I really like #2. Looks super chic.

I buy them in bulk at Threddies! In big packs of a few hundred at a time… they are great to keep around the house for me and my daughters!
