A reputable mystery shopping company, will never ask you to pay to become a shopper. You will, however, be asked to provide basic information (i.e., name, address, birth date) when you join. Additionally, some, not all, will ask for your Social Security number for tax purposes. Before giving out that information, be sure to check out the company.
Again, always remember a reputable Mystery Shopping Companies will NEVER ask you to pay to work as a Mystery Shopper.
