Dr. Scholl’s Would Love To Save Your Feet!

And do my feet need saving! Sadly, I couldn’t attend the event myself, but, thankfully, I had just the person who could.

As a full time Corporate Diva, busy Mami, and loving wife, Jeanette, can be on her feet for hours. Like me, she also loves her heels, knowing this, I HAD to get her to attend; as you can imagine, it didn’t take much presuading from my end to get her to kick off those heels!  After reading her review, I can totally say I wish it was me who had attended!

Below is her recap.

Dr. Scholls

Dr. Scholl’s recently put an event together to showcase their products to shoe loving Divas like me.  As a Latina, I have to admit, I will wear my heels all day long,  regardless of the pain I’ll feel later.

I love to go out – when la familia /the family and career let’s me!  Give me some salsa music, good food and friends and it’s guaranteed to be a great night.  You know what’s also guaranteed? Foot pain from high heels. The great “FAST FLATS” by Dr. Scholl’s lets you go out knowing you have a backup plan. Enclosed in a cute carrying case are two super thin and comfortable flats. Easy to tuck into your bag and come to the rescue later.

Dr. Scholl’s is helping us rock our style with much less pain. They have special insoles for both closed and open-toe high heels.  They are thin and fit nicely into your shoes.  They balance out the weight and pressure on the ball of your foot, allowing you to stay in your heels longer and have more options when dressing up.

For the casual days, where sandals come out to play, be sure to try “Dr. Scholl’s For Her Smooth My Sole Micro File”.  This device helps get rid of dry skin and calluses. It also comes with smoothing pads to buff your feet and make them soft.  With this device, our lovely sandals will now match with our lovely feet.

Another great item they have is the “Rub Relief” Strips (LOVE!).  Toss it in your bag and use it when the straps start to rub or dig in.  It’s a foam strip that adheres to your shoe.  Think how your friends will love you when they start to complain about their shoes and you pull the strips out.  Bam! You saved the day!

At the event they supplied products, testers, a manicure and pedicure, and a podiatrist on hand to answer any foot questions we had.  They also showcased a cool new “Dr. Scholl’s Custom Fit Orthotic Center”. We got the opportunity to try out the Foot Mapping Technology.

You can try it too, at Walmart, Walgreens and the pharmacy section of other fine stores.  The foot mapping allows the technology to measure your feet not only in length and width but in how you walk and the pressure you typically apply to certain areas of your feet.  We are all different and use our feet in different ways.  Some of us suffer from achy and tired feet.  With this new technology Dr. Scholl’s can fit us into one of their 14 orthopedic insert variations that will provide relief and support.  At a cost of less than $50.00, it also saves us from a trip to the podiatrist and an expensive, doctor prescribed orthotic.  Super convenient and quite impressive.

With their large array of options for foot comfort, including super cute sneakers – see below (great with jeans, skirts and dresses), Dr.Scholl’s just may be able to actually save out feet!
