With the holidays, families tend to rush, dining out more then normal. This can wreck havoc on a families diet thats why its a good idea to keep healthy snacks on hand. In my home, we have California Raisins to beat those hunger pangs. Not only can they be eaten on the go but they can also be added to recipes to create healthy meals.
I personally love to add raisins to my salads. Not only does it give my salad a sweet taste to counter the tart oil and vinegar dressing I always add, but it also provides me with antioxidants to keep me healthy! I want to make the Caramelized Port Wine Raisins Sauce for my Fiance’s family next week. Looks delicious.
