Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Pampers on a $300 gift card giveaway, with the expectations that the card would be used to shower an expecting Mami with everything she needs to welcome her little miracle into this world. It was an opportunity I welcomed being that I know how expensive a newborn can be.

As amazing as that giveaway was, Latina On a Mission is partnering with Pampers for something even BIGGER! As part of Pampers’ Little Miracles campaign and its ongoing commitment to Hispanic babies and families, Pampers is throwing a special baby shower for a mother who is expecting her own little miracle in the coming months.

I’m excited to announce that this giveaway has TWO parts, providing two opportunities to win BIG!

 

Part ONE: Latina On a Mission’s Giveaway

In the first stage, Pampers wants to give an expectant Latina the opportunity to win a $500 Gift Card. Why? To prepare for their little milagro/miracle of course!

To enter the first stage of the giveaway you must meet the qualifications noted below.  If you meet the qualifications noted below, or know of someone else who does, let me know by answering the mandatory giveaway question below. 

 

Part TWO: A Personalized Baby Shower paid by Pampers! 

During the second part, Pampers is working with  four bloggers,  Jennifer, Rory, Marcela and myself to select the Pampers’ Little Miracles campaign winner.

The winner of the $500 giftcard will be entered for a chance to win the memorable Pampers baby shower.

Why is this baby shower so special?

  • Winner will be featured on Todo Bebé, a leading Spanish-language baby care show that airs on the Univision network
  • Pampers will provide the expectant Hispanic mother with a baby shower that celebrates her “little miracles’” arrival with her family and friends
  • Pampers is willing to arrange travel for up to two family members.

GIVEAWAY QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this giveaway, you, or the person you nominate, must fulfill the following requirements

  • Age requirement: 19 and up
  • Must be either fluent or able to hold a conversation in Spanish
  • Must be pregnant and not due for delivery until late fall/early winter (Nov./Dec.)
  • Willing to share their “little miracle” story with Todo Bebé
  • Able to attend a baby shower in October (slated baby shower time frame)
  • Open to sharing family and friends’ contact information for baby shower
  • Willing to have photos posted on Facebook Pampers Latino or other Pampers media channels

  48. Gracias for this giveaway! My baby is a miracle baby for many reasons, here is our story: After a year of trying to get pregnant I had given up hope on having another child. I assumed that if it wasn’t happening naturally, I wasn’t going to force it (meaning going to fertility treatments etc) I thought there was a reason why I shouldn’t have more kids and I was at peace with the idea of having only one child.
    We got pregnant unexpectedly and were so excited!! I knew this baby was supposed to teach us something and it didn’t take us long to find out what. Financial trouble got only worse, my husband and I work on contract basis with a couple of entities (county based) in LA and of course budget cuts affected us tremendously! A big contract that was potentially going to help us stay afloat didn’t happened and as up to date we’re pretty much done for the year with our other contracts, without any hopes of renewing any of them. This little life inside of me is giving me the strength to face every day with hope of a brighter future, he or she (as we are not finding out the gender) has taught me that asking for help is not a bad thing. Asking for help has been a learning process that has given me back the faith in humankind and it also has reminded me that Dios aprieta pero no ahorca!
