I also have two major family events coming up in the coming weeks, a Sweet Sixteen and a wedding. My sons come out in each event, so you can imagine the running around I have been doing for tuxedo fittings, dance recitals and rehearsals, but I have to admit I love it!
Its been so long since the whole family has gotten together. We’re all so busy with work and family obligations that we haven’t had time for any of our gabfests or playdates. These events have brought us back together from all over the United States and Puerto Rico!
I was able to sneak a video of the teens practicing their dance for the Sweet Sixteen. You can hear the little ones acting up in the background. You also hear the Mommy threatening them with a pella/spanking¹!
My prima-hermana/cousin would kill me if she knew I posted the below video so shhh let’s keep it a secret!
What about you? What have you been up to this week?
¹Disclosure: No children were hurt in the filming of this video

Lisa: I can’t wait to see them dance in their tuxedos and dresses, esp. when they lift her at the end. For some reason, it keeps reminding me of the Disney movies we watch with the kids
That was a sweet dance to watch.
My husband and I are going out to gallery openings tonight. I’m a college teacher, so I have to go to my students graduation tomorrow. Then I have a cousin that is having a high school graduation party on Sunday.
My sister’s due this month on my birthday, June 21. The baby will be sick with Trisomy 18. So my mind has been on all that. I can’t seem to clear it.

Alissa Apel: It looks like you are even busier thn me! Please take pics of the gallery opening for WW. Would love to see them
Also, make sure to enjoy the graduation and give yourself a pat on the back as well. I know your job is not easy so THANK YOU for all you do to shape our children’s minds. As a Mom, I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
As for your sister’s baby, I had to look up Trisomy 18 because I have never heard of it. I will keep your family in my prayers. Please keep us updated. *Hugs*
