For Sale: JCrew

Jcrew

I’m an eclectic fashion “stylist”. I mix and match styles and brands, depending on my moods, the event I’m attending or who I’m with. Yet I have to admit I still have my faves.

JCrew is one of those stores. They have an eclectic mix featured in their general retail stores, online and in specialty boutiques found only in Manhattan. Their pieces are timeless.  They aren’t afraid to use color to make their pieces pop and best of all you rarely walk into a gathering and see someone else wearing the same outfit or piece.

Why do I mention these things?

Because JCrew is up for sale.

At this point they have four likely buyers, two of which are: Sears and Urban Outfitters.

I can’t imagine the collaboration with either store. Can you? Would you be more inclined to purchase a JCrew piece sold under the Sears or Urban Outfitters brand? Share your thoughts!

Share and Enjoy. Go ahead, you know you want to.

  1. When it comes to clothing brands, it doesn’t really matter where it’s sold as long and it’s readily available when I need something! I feel the same way about hair products… as a consumer, I just want to know where I can find it. The company needs to make it very clear.
