As someone who has gone through the trails of dealing with bedbugs, I know how expensive it can be. The cost of new furniture, dry cleaning, laundry, plastic encasements, fumigations, and so much more, can quickly add up. Thankfully, my building covered the cost of the fumigation and follow-ups, as per law; however, for those families who live in residences that are not mandated to cover the cost of fumigation and follow-ups, those removal fees can mean they have to choose between necessities or bed bug removal services.
