Get Paid to Blog for Charmin!
by Ms. Latina ~ November 3rd, 2009. Filed under: Blogs, Money.
As a Blogger, I know how hard bloggers work to maintain a blog. In fact, most bloggers do not earn a wage that is comparable to the time spent preparing their posts; however, that appears to be changing as companies realize the worth of social media.
Charmin is one company that is tapping into social media to extend the reach of its product. It is selecting five (5) bloggers to work as “Charmin Ambassadors”. These ambassadors will blog about their experience in Manhattan bathrooms specifically created by and for Charmin. The bathrooms will be open for the holidays from November 23 to December 31, 2009. The selected individuals will interact with a multitude of bathroom users, while blogging and tweeting about their experiences. They will also take videos while using these bathrooms (family friendly of course!). In return, they will receive $10,000 for about 6 weeks of work!

That is interesting that companies are possibly going around paid blogging sites to give bloggers work. Nothing saves money like cutting out the middle man (and woman)!
