California Raisins Gift Basket Giveaway!

by Migdalia Rivera

With the holidays, families tend to rush, dining out more then normal. This can wreck havoc on a families diet thats why its a good idea to keep healthy snacks on hand. In my home, we have California Raisins to beat those hunger pangs. Not only can they be eaten on the go but they can also be added to recipes to create healthy meals.

I personally love to add raisins to my salads. Not only does it give my salad a sweet taste to counter the tart oil and vinegar dressing I always add, but it also provides me with antioxidants to keep me healthy! They can also be added to yogurt, oatmeal and even pancakes!  If you’re not sure how to use raisins in your recipes, you can get some recipes from nutritionist Claudia Gonzalez by clicking HERE. If you’re not fluent in Spanish, you can translate the page by clicking the translate button at the top of the page or you can view the English site by clicking HERE.

California Raisins is so sure you’ll enjoy making a few of their recipes that they are giving away TWO (2) California Raisins gift baskets to two Latina On a Mission readers! The gift baskets will contain the following goodies:

  •          Mr. Raisin
  •          Gold Raisins
  •          Purple Raisins
  •          CA Raisin Magnets
  •          CA Raisin Snack Pack
  •          Spatulas
  •          An Oven Mit
  •          Table Clothes
  •          CA Raisin Canister

Below is a picture of the gift basket. Isn’t it perfect for the holidays?! I received one myself and love it, especially because it matches the colors of my kitchen!

I want to make the Caramelized Port Wine Raisins Sauce for my Fiance’s family next week. Looks delicious. I would love to win this basket for him because (after a board game we won with a winning answer of “I heard it from the Grapevine”) his first gift to me was a little California Raisin figure. Even after the other presents that have followed the little raisin is my favorite : ) He would get such a kick out of this present : )
