Novica Review and Giveaway!

NOVICA, a company that works with National Geographic, specializes in handcrafted works of green gifts, unique gifts, and fair trade corporate gifts. They showcase artisans from developing countries, bringing their handcrafted work to the attention of others. NOVICA ensures artisians receive fair market value for their work, so not only do you get a beautiful piece of art but you have the satisfaction of knowing your money is helping them move towards economic self-sufficiency and stability!

Its a wonderful site, so wonderful that it took me FOREVER to post my review! In order to provide an honest review, I was given a $50 gift certificate to purchase an item from their website and provide a review of their products and the checkout process. I have to admit I was dumbstruck by all of the wonderfully unique and green products that I saw. I couldn’t decide which product I liked the best! I finally decided on one item and am budgeting for the other two. I went over the $50 budget but am happy with my choices. I haven’t received the painting as of yet but will post a picture of it once I receive it!

Below is the amazing piece that I selected titled High Hopes. It was created by Layza Norbim, a featured Brazilian Novica artist. Isn’t it beautiful?

I also plan on purchasing the below pieces to use as gifts. As a small business owner, I am constantly seeking unique gifts to give as a token of my appreciation to individuals I work with. The below fair trade corporate gifts look elegant and are functional. They can be used in an office setting or in the home. I also love the fact that NOVICA’s corporate gifts can be given to a male or a female in any industry, from corporate to entertainment! Can you imagine receiving the below from an associate?! I would love them, that’s why I’m getting two, one for a business associate and another as a gift to myself!
