Casting Children for Broadway, Las Vegas & National Tour Companies

I recently received the below information from a wonderful friend and Sister (Thank you Wanda!). It appears to be a great opportunity for children who are between the ages of 9-12 and 52″-58″ in height> the children must be able to sing, dance and act but do not need professional experience to apply!

Children who meet the requirements can apply to play as the African Lion Cubs Simba and Nala. Selected children will receive a minimum weekly salary of $1,500+.

Saturday, October 24, 2009

TIME:
9:00am – Sign-in begins
10:00am – Auditions begin
11:00am- Sign-in ends

WHERE:
The National Black Theatre
2031 5th Ave. (Btwn. 125th and 126th Streets) New York, NY 10035-1503

PREPARE:
Be prepared to be taught the last verse of Just Can’t Wait to be King. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must remain at the audition site at all times. Please be prepared to wait.
