Before I had children, I would come home and eat a plate of cereal for dinner and call it a night. However, now that I have a family, gone are the days that I can just grab a can or a box and call it a meal.
Home cooked meals are now the norm. Meals bond us. Together, my sons and I, make our meals. One peels, one chops and another sets the table. Afterwards we take turns doing dishes. I have to admit, most of the time it’s not “my day” but its not my fault, the chart rules! 😉
Yet the one thing that hasn’t changed from my pre-children days is the need to make dinner quickly. It’s no longer from a can or box (Thankfully!) but it has to edible in less than 30 minutes. Our life dictates it!
Thankfully, ReadySetEat has a slew of recipes that can be made in under 30 minutes.
Want variety? They got it!
Crave a healthy meal? It’s here!
Need flavor? Look no further!
Even better, ReadySetEat lets you know when your supermarket has a recipe ingredient on sale. Just enter your zip code and it will let you know which supermarkets in your area have a sale.
What does that mean?
It means in 1, 2, 3 you’ll be ready to eat! No more rushing around at the last minute, trying to find a take out menu, when you can make a savory home cooked meal that will satisfy your palette AND save you money!
It doesn’t get any better than that!
Do you cook every night? How long does it normally take?
Disclosure: I was hired by Ready Set Eat to review recipes. The glee at getting a hearty and healthy dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes is all my own!

@Maybelline I love that they also let you know about the sales in your area. It helps me organize my shopping list around the sales and ultimately saves me money.

30 minute meals sounds great. Who has the energy to cook every night? No time, too tired, etc. Currnetly I average three nights a week.
Thanks for sharing?
LOL – I could so relate to your comment about your single days of eating a bowl of cereal for dinner and of course how much that has changed. Enjoyed the link to ReadySetEat – thanks for the post!
